Denise
Teaching since 1995. Denise’s journey started with ballet, which led to personal training and then found Pilates she says it's her happy place.

She bought her first Reformer in 2006 and opened Bury’s first dedicated Pilates studio, BBodySmart, in 2014.

Now only teaching early morning classes on Tuesdays and Fridays,

Denise leads the BBodySmart team with expertise, warmth, and a passion for purposeful movement. Come and join her to start your day strong.
Leanne
Inspired by Pilates during her own rehab journey, she quickly saw its power to rebuild strength and confidence.

Now specialising in pre- and postnatal Pilates and exercise therapy, she supports clients of all levels with care and precision.

You’ll find her in the studio most days  teaching, practicing, and helping clients move with purpose. Beyond classes, she helps grow the BBodySmart community through events and marketing, sharing her passion for Pilates that truly transforms.

Lindsay
With over 20 years in fitness, she’s a qualified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach who brings energy and encouragement to every class.

Her Tuesday evening sessions are fun, dynamic, and full of motivation the perfect mix of challenge and support.

Passionate about helping others feel strong and confident, she inspires every client to move with purpose.

A former dancer turned Pilates specialist, Pete is certified with both BASI and STOTT Pilates®.

His background brings precision, creativity, and depth to every class.

Teaching on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, he also works privately with clients focusing on rehabilitation and athletic performance.

Pete's sessions are challenging, balanced, and rooted in the classical Pilates method.

With over 40 years’ experience in dance and teaching, Karen brings a wealth of knowledge and grace to every session.

Her approach to Pilates is pure and classical, with a creative use of props to enhance each movement. Teaching on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday mornings, her classes are thoughtful, uplifting, and grounded in the fundamentals of the method.
Lauren
Certified in Acrobatic Arts, Flexibility, and Ballet teaching technique, Lauren brings precision and creativity to every class.

With a focus on rehabilitation and conditioning, her sessions build strength, control, and confidence.

Teaching on Monday and Thursday mornings, she blends varied apparatus work with a calm, encouraging approach to movement.

A former professional dancer, Lorraine trained in Mat, Reformer, Barre, and specialist Pilates, bringing elegance and precision to every session.

Teaching on Thursday evenings, she also works closely with our private clients, offering tailored guidance that blends strength, control, and flow.

After practicing Pilates at BBodySmart for over five years, Marta was inspired to qualify as a teacher and share her passion for the method.

Her classes focus on precision, care, and encouragement, creating a supportive space for every body. Teaching on Friday nights, she brings warmth and confidence to each session.
